___________

The Plans of Characterization have been planned, approved and executed for over 3.5 million square meters of land including industrial and commercial areas and agricultural and residential areas and aimed at verifying the quality of soil, subsoil, groundwater and waste. Planned and executed approx. 500 polls, 80 piezometers, approx. 1,500 samples of soil samples on which were examined approx. 150,000 analytical parameters from accredited laboratories. Geophysical surveys, sewerage inspections, soil ground value assessments, and site-specific health and environmental site risk analysis were performed.

___________

The outcomes of the characterization activities have allowed us to assess the low environmental impact on the soil and subsoil of this agri-food activity which almost always complies with the industrial limits for the parameters sought. For green-public residential areas with relevance to the areas of sugar factories, safe-keeping and reclamation activities have been set up with localized soil removal operations, inertization with lime mixtures, injection of bioremediation and extraction groundwater and related purification (Pump & Treat).
